The Ferguson Avenue shul, known as the "Broigasa Shul", was called the angry shul. If somebody couldn't get along with people in their shul, they went there.
According to Aaron Shiffman, the shul was carved from an old mansion. "It had a blue ceiling and gold and silver stars. It was small, about 70 people. It had no devoted members in the end. It met an ignominious end." (Memories from the Shul will Endure, Hamilton Spectator, Nov 30, 2007)
